Methodology & Data Integrity
How our platform processes filings, market data, and sentiment — with transparency and limitations.
Primary Data Sources
- SEC EDGAR filings (10‑K/10‑Q/8‑K, proxies, transcripts)
- Real‑time and delayed market data for prices/volumes
- ETF holdings and sector breakdowns from issuer disclosures
- Public social streams (volume/velocity only, no PII)
How Analysis Works
- Ingest and normalize raw documents with citations and timestamps
- Extract key entities (segments, risks, KPIs) with guardrails
- Fuse fundamentals, technicals, and sentiment for context
- Generate summaries with links back to the original source
Quality Controls
- Data lineage preserved — each statement is traceable
- Outlier checks and missing‑data fallbacks
- Human‑reviewed prompts for regulated content patterns
- Clear disclaimers: this is not investment advice
Known Limitations
- Point‑in‑time lag on issuer disclosures
- Corporate actions may shift holdings between refreshes
- Sentiment is noisy; we use it directionally, not deterministically
